Welcome to the Global Academic-Industrial Society (GAIS)
Since 2000, we have been officially recognized as the Global Academic-Industrial Society (GAIS). As a non-profit organization, we are committed to publishing high-quality academic research and hosting international joint conferences that foster interdisciplinary communication and strengthen the connection between academic research and industrial practice. GAIS was founded by scholars from over 20 countries, with the mission of providing a global platform for both academics and industry professionals to share their research, innovations, and experiences.
In 2017, our founding year, we successfully organized the first International Joint Conference in Tokyo, with nearly 250 delegates from over 40 countries. Building on that success, our 2019 conference at Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, attracted 425 participants. These international conferences not only provide a platform for interdisciplinary research, but also create opportunities for meaningful networking across cultures, disciplines, and industries, with a focus on fostering collaborative partnerships.
In addition to our conferences, GAIS promotes the dissemination of research through our sponsored journals, including the International Journal of Education, Teaching and Learning (JETL), the International Journal of Business in Sports, Tourism and Hospitality Management (JBSM), and the International Journal of Health, Nutrition and Exercise Science (JNES). These publications serve as important venues for interdisciplinary scholarship and the exchange of ideas.
